Queens pizza is it fit for a king….
Tarpon Springs well known for it Greek Community, Sponges, Docks and home to E2 Computers. This culturally rich area has great food and recently we have caught up with Queens Pizza. We have been eating at Queen’s for about 5 years now. For us the main attraction is a White Garlic dressing that is almost to die for. Creamy but not thick like the Garlic Dressing I grew up with in Chicago, but none the less top notch. Used on their Greek salad and mixed with an Italian dressing it is known as their “House” dressing. I do not want to insult the Creator’s of the House Dressing because it is fine, but again my preference is to use the White Dressing only. After this dressing you will be seeking some mints to help cover up the wonderful Garlic taste. This dressing alone brings me back over and over again.
By the way the menu includes traditional Italian dishes like Lasagna and Spaghetti as well as a few other treats like Spanakopita, spinach pie, and a fantastic Philly sandwich. The restaurant has lunchtime specials which change roughly on a monthly basis.
As the name implies they also throw down a pretty good pizza. Now I am not going to tell you that it compares with some of the Home Town “Chicago” favorites but if you are looking for a good pizza visit this is a great place. The sausage pizza is made with pulled pork not slices and they use a nicely spiced pepperoni. A very nice crust completes their red pizzas. Queens is one of our favorite lunchtime fares, and did I mention they deliver. Queen;s Pizza Menu can be found at restaurant.com.
