Facebook Worm found in the wild 11_30_11

Yet again it appears Facebook users are under attack. In a recent blog from GFILABS (the company that produces Vipre) they wrote that the Danish company CICS has found a classic worm that is infecting users by stealing credentials. Once it has access it appears to spam their contacts.

The spam will contain either some type of screen shots or image files. It carries a payload of malicious files and a trojan Zeus S.  Zeus S is a popular virus known for stealing users information.

So fare another unique feature is that this virus is capable of detecting Virtual Machine environments so it is making it difficult to test in a virtual environment.
