AMX give us free money, no way! 03152013

We received an email notice from AMX that a transaction was waiting for us and needed attention.

“…A payment(s) to your company has been processed through the American Express Payment Network.
The remittance details for the payment(s) are attached (CD092898.947632830689.zip).

– The remittance file contains invoice information passed by your buyer. Please contact your buyer …”

Well heads up it appears to be to good to be true, ie a SCAM! We did not open the attachment but we did do a search on the text of the mail which led us to find out that the virus is PAYVE – Remit file – Fake American Express email with virus attached.
