Could there be a bigger hack than Target, maybe Home Depot.
This summer continues to be chalk full of news about system hacks security breaches and nude photos being circulated. Yes I mentioned the last for shock value but we might as well start with that story first. It appears that iCloud has a hack of some sort. Release are photos of many a-listers. Apple’s position appears to be that it was an attack at the account or individual level, and not a widespread attack of iCloud. To see Apples latest statement check out this link to “We Still Don’t Have Assurances From Apple That the iCloud is Safe” by Steve Kovach at the Business Insider.
So from Hollywood to your backyard how about Home Depot. It appears the DYI retail giant has also been attacked. The current information says over 2,200 stores in the US could be affected. The hack was confirmed on Tuesday. This could make it even larger than the Target attack. It appears it may be another attack of the Backoff hack.
